In full confession, I've never been a fan of having to describe your bio in paragraph form. I'm overflowing with gratitude for my amazing business partner, Amy, who patiently waited for 2 years to get an "About Us" page because I didn't want to create the same boring, overly simplified paragraphs that I'd seen everywhere else. And then one morning recently, I woke up with a jolt of inspiration to share my bio through pictures.

I've had an amazing time choosing what to share, and a combination of love and joy poured out as I placed each moment here. It is my hope that love and joy will transcend this page and be felt by each person who journeys past my bio.

If you know me, then you know the formal, third-person style of a traditional bio is not match for me. I am a person who relates through storytelling and sharing personal moments. So, here is my style of my bio:

I've heard we all receive the call to step onto the path of our own hero's journey. Some choose to ignore the call and continue on the repaved path. While others answer the call and step off the path created by others to venture into the unknown, and others choose to continue on the pre-paved path. Before I received my call, my careers were rooted in evidence-based practices. I worked in healthcare, the fitness industry, and team collaboration. I enjoyed a career in nursing, working on an open-heart surgical team and then had the privilege of starting a multispecialty surgical center with an amazing team of doctors and nurses. Like many, I set goals, dug my heels in, and worked hard to reach those goals. It often felt like a long, hard climb up the mountain, and once I reached the peak, I quickly celebrated my hard work and accomplishments and on to the next venture. 
 
Then, in the spring of 2017, I received the call and left the path paved by others to begin my own hero's journey. It was abrupt; some call it a spiritual awakening. At the time, my immediate thoughts were, "WTF is this?!?" Words can't adequately describe the experience; at best, my heightened senses translated "energy" beyond what I considered normal, and I could see the aliveness of energy in living and "non-living" objects. I felt and knew the connectedness between all people and things. Some people call it psychic abilities, others say heightened intuition or using your sixth sense. I still don't put a label on the experience, but the result was a total paradigm shift. My concrete, evidence-based world shifted to a new realm of wonder, discovery, and co-creation. I quickly realized I knew nothing and said out loud, "I know nothing, so show me the way!" As a result, I have discovered a passion for blending my understanding of science and spirituality. 
 
 In the summer of 2018, during a meditation, an idea popped into my head to bring company leaders together, teaching them tools to experience higher states of flow, clarity, happiness, and success in their businesses, while providing guidance using my understanding of energy to read people's limiting beliefs and the resistance they create in their businesses. At the time, I didn't know the when or the how, but I'd played in this new quantum energy world enough to know that if I made an intention and it was for my highest good, the right people and resources would appear. A month later, I met this amazing, brilliant, talented woman, Amanda Sanders, and in a short time, we realized we had the same vision for businesses, and the people and resources started to follow. 
 
Our method and philosophy are relatively simple. One can continue to climb the mountain with a heavy pack consisting of stress, lack mentality, and competition and energetically it creates resistance and restriction in your business. Or, choose a different route, one that's always been waiting for you — step in the raft and flow with the current around the mountain. Allow your business to thrive and grow from a passionate, heart-centered, playful energy. Life is meant to be fun and enjoyable. Of course, there are still boulders along the path, but find the beauty in the obstacles, and you'll quickly discover life is always happening for you rather than to you. People quickly hear me say, if you are going to play with this energy, "Dude, you have to lighten the Fu** up!" Otherwise you are adding more rocks to your backpack.
